For those that watched the No Surrender TNA pay-per-view, am I alone in thinking that was maybe the worst ending ever seen on a PPV? I don't even want to think about what the fuck angle Russo and the rest of TNA were trying to take with it, but they need to realize one thing: It's a pay-per-view. There's someone out there paying a good amount of money to see matches. That shit I just saw belonged on Impact. I'm all for progressing storylines, but this was an absolute waste of a PPV.

Everything built towards "Bound for Glory" which is great, but don't treat No Surrender as just a set-up for it. From Abyss, STILL referencing "They", (which, by the way, is starting to get really fucking old; they need to start putting some actual pieces in motion here to keep that angle going. Christ, he's been mentioning it for weeks and there's nothing substantial giving me hope that "They" will live up to any of the hype that has been put into them) to the two semi-final matches for NEXT month's PPV. Do that shit on fucking Impact and don't water-down the PPV.

There's something about the placement of matches that makes a PPV, and TNA definitely fucked this one up. Mr. Fucking Kennedy Anderson main-eventing? Has he ever mained a PPV before? And especially over Angle and Hardy? They knew that Angle and Hardy was going to have the double time extension and then eventual no contest because of Angle's cut "being too deep" (which he definitely didn't blade himself hard enough) which had pretty much the billing of a main event twist, but at least the people saw what was an awesome match. Instead, you have Anderson and Dinero finish the card. I couldn't even tell you what really happened in that match. Was there anything? I must have missed it. There were a few close pinfalls, Anderson hit the mic check a few times...and that was it.

How silent was Anderson's win? No one gave a fuck. Yeah he got them loud initially, just because people love yelling. But he fucked up that momentum up. This was a goddamned pay-per-view. I feel like I cannot stress that enough. Was TNA hoping to have people still yelling and pumped while Anderson walked to all four corners of the ring, and then say Anderson a second time? Well that shit didn't happen. And it's simply not going to. He didn't win shit. There was nothing on the line. At least Angle had his "career" on the line. Instead you're going to let a man and a character, that has yet to prove he is a natural main-event talent, parade around the ring like a fucking dickhead and strike a pose to end your show on? Fuck.

I just can't get past the fact that this show was available for people to buy. It never had the feel of a big time event, mainly because it wasn't; this whole show was just a stop-gap for TNA to get to Bound for Glory. We all knew that No Way Out was a build up into Wrestlemania, but it was still realized that it was an important card and the quality of matches and production needed to be stepped up, and they did just that. This wasn't "No Surrender" as much as it was "Hey let's fucking keep stringing these people along a little longer and then we'll really try next month." Fuck you, try now. Give me a good show, and give me a better one next month.
